Ms. Sharma uses the experience and knowledge she gained while previously working for defense law firms representing self-insured corporations, trucking and construction companies and defending the interests of insurance companies, to effectively represent victims of the negligence and the wrongdoing of others.  Prior to working as a liability defense attorney, Ms. Sharma worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Joseph P. McCurdy in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, Maryland. 

Ms. Sharma is a member of the Brain Injury Association of Washington, D.C., the American Association for Justice, the Trial Lawyers Association of Metropolitan Washington, D.C. and the Network of Indian Professionals.

Ms. Sharma received her law degree, with a concentration in trial advocacy, from the University of Baltimore School of Law.  Ms. Sharma received her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University, Douglass College.
